Passengers on Air France long-haul flights can now enjoy Apple TV original series through the airline’s upgraded inflight entertainment system.

Air France has announced a new partnership with Apple TV to improve its in-flight entertainment experience on long-haul flights. Through this collaboration, passengers can now enjoy more than 45 hours of Apple TV original content while traveling. The service is available to all customers flying long-distance routes.

This new offering is also connected to Air France’s high-speed WiFi portal, which allows passengers to access Apple TV content for free during their journey. The WiFi service is currently being rolled out across the airline’s fleet and will continue expanding over the coming months.

Popular Apple TV Shows Now Available in the Air

On all long-haul flights, Air France passengers now have access to a curated selection of Apple TV programs. The lineup includes some of the platform’s most popular and award-winning series, such as Ted Lasso, The Morning Show, and Severance.

The catalog also highlights shows that reflect French culture and lifestyle. One example is Carême, a series that focuses on French culinary history. This mix of global hits and locally inspired content aims to appeal to a wide range of travelers.

In addition to drama and comedy series, the entertainment library includes documentaries like Prehistoric Planet and The Reluctant Traveler with Eugene Levy. Families traveling with children can also enjoy animated series and kids’ shows, including WondLa and The Snoopy Show.

Easy Access Through the In-Flight Entertainment System

Each Apple TV series is presented through a dedicated channel within the Air France in-flight entertainment system. For every show, the first three episodes are available, giving passengers a chance to explore different titles during their flight.

All content can be watched on individual seatback screens and is offered in both French and English. Subtitles are available, along with accessibility options for passengers who are deaf or hard of hearing.

In total, the Apple TV selection adds up to more than 45 hours of entertainment. To keep the experience fresh, the airline plans to update the available content every two months.

Free Apple TV Access Through High-Speed WiFi

Beyond seatback screens, Air France is also offering passengers free access to Apple TV through its new high-speed WiFi portal. This allows travelers to watch Apple TV content directly on their personal devices during the flight.

The free access lasts for one week, making it possible for passengers to continue watching their favorite shows even after they land. This feature is designed to give travelers a smooth and flexible viewing experience, both onboard and beyond the journey.

In the near future, Air France plans to improve this offering further by adding specially curated content from both Air France and Apple TV. This enhanced version will be available exclusively to passengers using the onboard WiFi portal.

Expanding High-Speed WiFi Across the Fleet

Air France is continuing to roll out its high-speed WiFi service across its aircraft. The upgrade is not limited to long-haul planes but also includes regional aircraft.

The airline expects the new WiFi service to be available on all aircraft by the end of the year. This upgrade is part of a broader effort to improve connectivity and digital services for passengers throughout the network.

A Large and Modern Entertainment Library

In the airline’s newest cabins, these screens feature anti-glare technology and support 4K quality. Passengers can also connect their own Bluetooth headphones or earphones, removing the need for wired accessories.

Air France is also updating the user interface of its in-flight entertainment system. A new touch-sensitive graphic design is being introduced across the fleet, covering more than 38,000 screens.

The updated interface is available in 12 languages and is designed to make browsing and selecting content easier and more intuitive. This change helps passengers spend less time searching and more time enjoying their chosen programs.
